We will explore the geology of the Porcupine Mountains July 28-30. We will visit Lake of the Clouds, see the town of Nonesuch, and view several waterfalls. On the last day, we will have an opportunity to tour the Humboldt Facility where the Eagle Mine’s ore is processed.

In terms of logistics, we will start the trip the morning of July 28 th – so you should plan to arrive in the Porcupines area by July 27 th . We will finish in the late afternoon of the 30 th – participants can leave from the Champion/Humboldt area.

The registration fee of $40.00 will cover the cost of a guidebook to the area.  Watch here for registration information that will be coming soon!

Due to limited parking and facilities at many of the sites in the park, we will be limiting the number of participants to 15 people and will be encouraging participants to car pool.
